How do I print?

Print from your laptop or mobile device by sending your document as an attachment to or by uploading the document at For more information, visit Microsoft Office files (like from Word, Excel, or PowerPoint) and PDFs are the best bet for correct printing.

How do I renew my books?

Call (972-825-4761) or email ( us and we will gladly renew your books, giving you extra time with them and preventing fines. We can't renew Reserve items though. Books can be renewed one time for two weeks.

How do I login to the catalog?

Logging into the Library Catalog lets you save lists, see your checked out items, and place holds on items already checked out by someone else. You should be able to login using your Lionmail Google Account by choosing the "Login via SSO" option. If you are unable to login, please email and we can help troubleshoot the problem.

Do you have a fax machine?

No, but many places will accept a scanned and emailed PDF in place of a fax. Library staff are always available to help with scanning. 

Do you have Accordance?

Yes, we have five (5) computers equipped with Accordance! Additionally, we have many computers equipped with either PC Study Bible or Word Search 9, either of which you may use to complete your accordance assignments - although Accordance is by far the easiest to use. Also, did you know Accordance now offers a free version, Accordance 12 Lite? Many assignments in the Core Bible courses can be completed with the Lite version. 

Can I bring my coffee in the library?

Yes! As long is it has a lid, drinks are welcome in the library.

Do I really need my ID to check out books?

Yes, you really do. If you don't have your ID, we can put your books on a 24-hour hold for you so you can go get your ID and check them out later. Additionally, we can help you make copies/scans of important pages if you need the information urgently.

How do I cite my resources in Turabian/APA/MLA?

How do I find an article?

How do I get books if Im a Distance Education student?

Email with a list of the books you would and your mailing address, then we'll mail them to you. Mail them back to us when you're done.

Where should I start my research?

SAGU Discovery is a great place to start any research project. SAGU Discovery allows you to search the library catalog, many of our databases, and many open access resources all at one time. If you're looking for a specific book or item, the Library Catalog is the best place to find out if we own it and where the item is. Learn more about the research process here.

Can I save my paper on the library computers?

No! All personal documents are deleted from the library computers 24 hours after you log in. There are several ways to save papers written in the library.

  1. Save to a USB drive; if you don't have a USB drive, you can purchase one from the bookstore at Sycamore Place.
  2. Email the document to yourself.
  3. Save the document to Google Drive.
