Course Description

An overview study of the Old Testament. Special emphasis is given to the content, genre, themes, and historical setting of each of the books of the Old Testament, along with the intent and purpose of each writer. How the Scriptures were produced, preserved and handed down in their present form is briefly reviewed with an emphasis on the Old Testament. The continuing theme of redemption is given special emphasis.
